G2 systems remain customizable with your preferred pumps, lighting, filtration etc. while also having a variety of sizes to fit almost any space needed in your home or business. Models allow for a diverse reef-scape of your preference due to their  customizable sizes. Supersized models allow for next level reef-keeping. Generation 2 aquariums are all:

        - Rimless and made from ultra-clear beveled edge glass

        - Increased thickness up to 19 mm or .75 inches of glass       

        - Cabinets are fortified and made of plywood

        - Piping is hidden in overflow box with removable to for easy maintenance

        - Enlarged downflow inlet for reduced turbulence and quieter flow

        - Dual return pumps on all available models for better water distribution

        - Custom bulkhead and fittings are improved for easier assembly (extra connectors are available for those who want to customize sump) 

        - All models have high precision valve downpipe for easy regulation and silent operation

        - Slide in Refugium wall and bubble trap to prevent bubbles back into tank

        - Built in ATO with RO reservoir

Rimless ultra-clear glass

REEFER G2 aquariums are rimless, and constructed from ultra-clear, bevelled-edge glass with increased thickness of up to 19 mm or 0.75" (15 to 19 inch glass thickness depending on model). 

Extra fortified plywood cabinet

The marine-spec laminated cabinets follow the contour of the glass, and are all made of plywood. Larger models are now reinforced with aluminum supports.

Deluxe version incorporates the ReefLED 90 / ReefLED 160S lighting units with mounting arms

Reef-safe lighting + Optimal coral growth 

Silent downflow system

The enlarged rectangular inlet to the downflow pipe reduces sensitivity to changes in waterflow, resulting in a quieter operation.

Bulkhead connector kits

Bulkhead connectors suitable for both Metric and USA standard pipes can be purchased separately, allowing you to customize your sump piping.

High precision valve

All models now have a new and improved high precision valve on the downflow pipe, allowing for easy regulation of the flow and a near silent operation.

Dual side-facing return pump outlets & large overflow box

For optimal water circulation and increased surface skimming

 

ReefMat-ready

REEFER G2 systems have a removable, ReefMat-ready mechanical filtration compartment, complete with micron filter socks and media.
